Alisha was born in Florida on July 14, 1989. The first time she acted was on the short film Murder on Her Mind. She took up acting as a full-time career during the decade that followed. Her debut film performance was Just Before i Go, filming in 2014. She also made one-episode parts in the TV shows Criminal Minds and Married. The family was from Dallas, Texas with her siblings and parents. Holland Roden was educated at the Hockaday School. This is an exclusive girls' school. She has a background in medicine. Her entire family studied women studies and molecular sciences at UCLA. Holland Roden spent a few months studying pre-medical, as she hoped to become an cardiothoracic surgeon. However, later on she chose to go into acting. Then, she was able to play only one-off roles in Switched at Birth (a show) and Major Crimes. Two General Hospital episodes, she then played Nurse Kelsey. She also appeared in the role of Maia Roberts for the Freeform television series Shadowhunters. Raising Dion, a Netflix show followed. The actress will be in Palmer which is a brand new movie co-starring Justin Timberlake.
